Minute 50: Hazard comes to life
A nice one-two between Hazard and Benzema ends with the Belgian attempting a pass across goal for Vinicius but it’s cut out by the defence. The ball comes back to Hazard who again tries to cross it in for a teammate but a Cadiz man is on hand to head it away.
Minute 46: Second half underway
The ball is rolling at the Bernabeu. Former Real Madrid man Alvaro Negredo is on for the visitors.

Minute 45: Kroos strikes over the bar

Los Blancos have all of the ball, but they are struggling to penetrate this Cadiz defence,
Minute 26: Casemiro gets away with one
Casemiro breaks up a Cadiz counter-attack with a wild lunge, but manages to escape with just a yellow card. Yet if a red had been given, there couldn’t have been many complaints. The Brazilian will miss the next game through suspension.
Minute 23: Valverde stings Ledesma’s gloves!
Valverde catches the ball sweetly on the bounce from distance, and Ledesma has to get two hands on it to tip it wide. A stunning effort.
Minute 15: Kroos tries his luck
With Cadiz sitting back, Kroos decides to have a go from distance, but it’s not one of his better efforts, as it flies over the bar.
Minute 9: Fali strikes over
Cadiz have a corner from the left, which is flicked on to the back post where defender Fali is waiting. The centre-back catches it on the volley but it’s blazed well over the ball.
